Calavera Hills Middle School
Dear Volunteers from North Coast Church,
The vision at Calavera Hills Middle is that we are a student-centered learning community characterized by interdependence at all levels of the organization.
It was so nice to arrive Monday morning to a campus that had obviously been shown some love over the weekend. Our track is groomed and free of rocks, the courtyards and field area are free of debris, and the doors are beaming with a fresh coat of paint. Needless to say, our school is looking great!
As you can imagine, during a time in which additional funding requirements often limit campus beautification efforts, we greatly appreciate your willingness to live-out your creed of service by volunteering your hearts, minds, and muscles toward helping us maintain an environment that invites students to instill a sense of safety on, and pride for, their campus. Along with skills and knowledge, a meaningful education also emphasizes community and cultural values. Thus, your work on our campus serves as an additional reminder for our students that taking pride in their environment and selflessly serving others are what ensure that our community continues to thrive.
Your efforts to ensure that Cal avera Hills lives-out its creed as a place where students are able to maximize their potential within a safe, nurturing environment are a welcomed addition to our collective mission as a Coyote family. On behalf of our entire school community, thank you!
