Take a look at just a few of the thank you cards that were received!

It was not an average weekend. Instead of going to church on May 14 and 15, more than 6,000 North Coast Church attendees went out into the community to "be the church" during Weekend of Service 2011.

At a post weekend debrief breakfast, Executive Pastor Charlie Bradshaw gave thanks to the project managers and encouraged them to write down the God moments witnessed over the past few weeks.

"Thousands of children and students want to say thank you for the work you did at a number of schools. You showed compassion to people fighting addiction, you gave hope to patients at Tri-City Hospital, and you were able to show love in homes and communities that needed it," he said. "My prayer leading up to this weekend was that we would make God look good. And we did that. God is looking down right now and saying 'well done, good and faithful servants'."
